Painting

Websites for painters, where the quote does the selling

Nobody books a full repaint off a calendar. Painting is won at the quote, so the site is built to bring you good quote requests and make accepting yours easy.

The short version

The quote is the product

Most trade websites bolt a booking calendar onto every trade whether it fits or not. Painting does not fit: every decent painter looks first, then prices. So instead of pretending otherwise, the site makes the quote path excellent, and the numbers follow from there.

What a good quote request collectsRooms or surfaces, rough sizes, the state of the existing paint, interior or exterior, and a few photos. You arrive at the site visit knowing what you are walking into, and half the tyre-kickers filter themselves out by the third question.
What happens after you price itYour written quote goes out, the customer accepts by email, and it becomes a job in your dashboard with the whole trail kept: request, inspection, price, acceptance. Nudges when a quote has gone quiet, so follow-ups actually happen.
The detail that matters

What a painting site needs that a generic one does not

A gallery that carries the sitePainting is bought with the eyes. Before and after shots of real jobs are part of the base build, straight off your phone, compressed properly so they load fast.
Interior, exterior, roofs: said plainlyWhat you paint and what you do not. A painter who does not do roofs should not be fielding roof calls at dinner time.
Your colour stance, statedHappy to advise, or strictly paint-what-they-picked. Either way the site says it, and the right customers arrive.
Deposits when the job is realQuote accepted, deposit paid through the site, job locked in. An add-on, and on multi-day jobs it earns its keep the first time someone would have gone quiet.
Reviews doing the trust workYour real Google reviews on the site, and an ask that goes out after each finished job. Strangers hiring a painter read reviews before anything else.
The trail keptEvery request, quote and acceptance in one place on your phone, with the customer's history beside it. No more scrolling text messages to find what you said in March.

Fair questions

What painters ask us

Nobody can price my job without seeing it. What does a website even do for me?

It does the part before the visit. A good quote request collects the rooms or surfaces, rough sizes, the state of the paint and a few photos, so you arrive at the site visit already knowing what you are walking into. Fewer wasted trips, and the customer feels taken seriously from the first minute.

Do customers expect to pay a deposit on painting work?

On bigger jobs, yes, and it protects both sides. With the deposits add-on the customer can pay it through the site the moment they accept your quote, straight into your own Stripe account, so the job is locked in before you order a single litre of paint.

I get asked about colours constantly. Can the site help?

The site says plainly whether colour advice is part of your service or whether you paint what the customer picks. Either answer is fine, but saying it up front filters the enquiries to the kind you actually want.

Most of my work comes from finished jobs. Does that show?

That is what the gallery is for, and it is part of the base build. Before and after shots of real jobs, from the photos already on your phone. For a painter it is the single strongest page on the site.

A job can run three or four days. Does the calendar cope?

Painting work is quoted rather than booked off the calendar, so the multi-day question never fights the booking page. Accepted quotes become jobs you manage from the dashboard, and your calendar shows what is on without customers booking over the top of it.

Built for other kinds of work too

Every industry we write up gets this treatment: the page reads the way that work actually runs.

Yours not here? Tell us your industry, and if we add it we will email you when its page is live. Or just start your website: the build is the same one, and the questions change to suit you.

Ready when you are

The form already knows your trade, so it asks the right questions. About twenty minutes, no payment.
