Terms of service
Last updated 26 August 2026
The agreement
These terms govern the website design, build and ongoing management services provided by My Business Hub Australia (ABN 50 762 394 799), referred to below as "we" and "us". Instructing us to proceed with a build, or continuing to use the monthly service, constitutes acceptance of these terms. We can be contacted at hello@mybusinesshub.com.au.
The service
We build websites for Australian local businesses from the information provided through our intake form and follow-up correspondence, and we operate and maintain them on an ongoing basis. Every website is presented as a private preview for your approval before it is made public.
Fees and payment
The build fee is $500, payable once. It falls due after we have confirmed your details and you have instructed us to proceed, and before the build begins. The build fee covers the website build, the private preview, and two rounds of pre-launch changes, where a round is a single list of requested changes. Further pre-launch rounds are at our discretion and may be quoted separately. The management fee is $59 per month and commences on the day your website goes live. Optional add-on features are priced individually and payable once, before the add-on is built.
Prices are in Australian dollars. We are not registered for GST. No GST is charged, and our invoices are not tax invoices.
What the monthly fee includes
The management fee covers hosting, security updates, data protection and recovery as described below, minor content updates on request, and direct support by phone and email.
Minor content updates are changes to existing content, such as prices, photographs, business hours and service descriptions. They are included on a fair use basis: requests are not counted, and the inclusion is intended for routine upkeep. New pages, new functionality and add-ons are scoped and quoted in writing, and are built only once you have approved the quote. No additional charges apply without your prior agreement.
Data protection and recovery
Website, booking and customer data is stored with Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider. The databases holding this data support point-in-time recovery and can be restored to any minute within the previous seven days. If data is lost or corrupted, we use this capability to restore it.
Your domain
Your .com.au domain is registered in your business name and ABN. The first year of registration is included in the build fee, and renewal fees are included in the management fee while your plan remains active. The domain is your property at all times. If you cancel, control of the domain transfers to you and subsequent renewals become your responsibility.
Ownership of content and data
Content you supply, and the customer and booking records generated through your website, remain your property. On cancellation we provide a complete export of your customer and booking data. The software, systems and designs used to deliver the service remain our property.
Referral program
When a business you refer engages us and its website goes live, you and the referred business each receive one month of the management fee at no charge. There is no limit on the number of referrals.
Cancellation
There is no fixed term and no notice period. You may cancel at any time. The website and dashboard remain in service until the end of the final paid month and are then decommissioned. Domain control and your data export are handed over as described above.
Liability
We exercise reasonable skill and care in providing the service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you have paid in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
